Colon Cleansing is Great for Constipation

Guest post by Katrina Robinson

At some point in your life, you will most likely experience constipation. If you’re a female or getting up in your years, you have a bigger chance of being constipated.

Constipation is one of the most common digestive disorders. In fact, millions of Americans deal with constipation. Medically, the definition of constipation is “the passage of small amounts of hard, dry bowel movements, usually fewer than three times per week.”

Furthermore, you are considered to be constipated if you experience at least two of the following for a minimum of three months:

* Hard stools at least 25% of the time
* Straining during bowel movements at least 25% of the time
* Incomplete evacuation at least 25% of the time

If you’re suffering from constipation, you know how it feels. You feel like when you have a bowel movement, it’s incomplete. So you strain. And you strain even more.

And this straining just leads to other issues like hemorrhoids and anal fissures. But you have other symptoms, too. Maybe you’re experiencing bloating, increased bowel sounds, gas, bad breath, fatigue, and skin blemishes. But there is a way to ease your constipation symptoms: colon cleansing.

By participating in a colon cleanse, you can help your body battle constipation in the following ways:

1. Colon cleansing gets rid of the encrusted buildup on the walls of your intestinal lining. This helps your body absorb more of the vital nutrients you need.
2. Helps promote better consistency and volume of the bowel movement.
3. Helps promote more frequent bowel movements.
4. Makes it easier to pass bowel movements.
5. Reduces the amount of toxins absorbed into your blood.
6. Improves bowel transit time.
7. Reduces the chances of developing constipation-related disorders.

In fact, one colon cleansing product, Oxy-Powder, underwent a clinical study published in the April issue of the International Journal of Pharma and Bio Sciences (IJPBS) specifically to prove its effectiveness on easing constipation.

Among the study results are the following: 92.6% of the participants had straining during bowel movements on the first day. On the 42nd day, only 7.7% still had this symptom. Final results indicated that 57.7% of the patients treated with Oxy-Powder showed significant improvement.

So it seems as though there is a way to beat constipation: participate in colon cleansing.
